Alright.. remember how irritated I was when I am the only one who cannot watch the M18 movie "District 9"... but its okay! 18 years old! =D

And of course.. I've found more people who has the same birthdate as me!

wow.. thats quite a number.. There will not be any pictures unfortunately.. haha but ah well.. but the whole day was spent with my family as usual but its worth it! =D

7 September:

Nothing much today.. but of course, first went to piano room to slack... and then afterwhich went to help my dad buy his shoe. Pretty normal. However...

I went into HMV and bumped into this:


BOYS LIKE GIRLS NEW ALBUM!! Love Drunk!

Except for the white casing DVD which I borrowed from the library but yes! It is out early! That really surprised me!

Anyway, since the Boys Like Girls DVD is in the same picture, I shall talk about it. Its about 1h 37min and... it is AWESOME! I borrowed it from the Esplanade library and didn't regret that move.

Well back to HMV, I also bought another album which is pretty interesting:


The Uncanny Tree of Fractured Hearts by Another Sunday Afternoon

The CD is actually in this book! Pretty creative and nice.. but yet to listen what it has installed for me! Hopefully it doesn't disappoint me 0.0

After that I went to Esplanade library, wanted to borrow some books on Beethoven, Chopin and Debussy for my piano examinations but they are all in the reference section so ah well. But I guess the trip is worthwhile because of that DVD! ~.~

So after everything, I decided to go AMK Central to eat, chicken rice as usual, and then went home.

However, just before i reached my block, I was looking at this cat while walking. Then guess what?

It.... Winked at me!!!!!

ok.. sounds weird, I may have seen wrongly but..

BWUAAAH!

ok just some random 'roar' . Gosh, these few days are just soo boring. Not doing anything, stoning around, lack of self discipline, and now... waiting for time to pass because Manchester United is having a match later at 2.40a.m.! haha!

I am feeling pretty weird these few days. The dreams I have is just sooo weird. Let's talk about the night before last night.. I have this dream whereby finally, I am in a human populated place. I am at home doing some funny stuff, reading some letters that have been mailed to me. Pretty much boring. Then I decided to go out, to do what? I have no idea. Then I had a phone call...

Okay just to let you all know, I do not crrash lectures at other schools or courses, only my course.

So, this phone call is apparently from one lecturer. He asked me this super interesting question, " Why are you flirting around during my lesson?"
And woah hoho! That question is soo sooo wrong.
Reasons because,
1) I don't flirt around!
2) As I've said earlier, I do not crash into other school's or course lecture. That means, I am 'flirting around' in my lecture. Which means, 95% guys and yea... It sounds totally gay! YUCK!
3) I AM NOT GAY!

there you go.. well, all I replied in the end was the typical "I dunno?"
God knows what the reply will be because I woke up immediately after that. But ah well, you get my point. Weird dreams for the past two days and fortunately, last night was fine! =)

Ah.. Its 2:17a.m. I guess I will just end off here.. Nothing much to blog for now.. back to thermofluids! ~.~

Okay guys! I am back! ... after a rather slacky post just a day ago =x

Spent the first day of the Study Week by going out! I went out with Jerald, Leonard, Mervyn, Nik and last but not least Zhi Qiang. Well, we went out to the usual stuff i would say, Lan, Movie Session, Dinner and Dessert.

Where Got Ghost?

Well, initially wanted to watch Up or Hangover, but Nik has watched it so no point asking him to watch again, then, we thought of Where Got Ghost?hmm, wasnt that into the movie but ah well, thanks to me not having my birthday earlier! RawR! Well, cut it short, District 9 is M18! NOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!

haha, so yea.. Where Got Ghost? it was. Although I thought that the movie isnt that great, but! the feeling is kind of shiok due to the fact that the mixture of comedy and horror is just unique! I don't know about you all but yea, not that bad. Overall i rate it about 3 and a half stars. Not so good, not so bad, slightly better than in the middle!

Sadly Jerald did not join us for the movie. Ah well! We had a great time of Lan! Especially Counter Strike Source. Couldn't get used to it initially, but as time passes its alright. Love the pistol match, LOL!

Ah, overall, today is just great. Finally hanging out with friends after quite sometime I guess. =)

Ah! One more thing I am gonna blog about! Well, luckily Leonard reminded me on the way back home on the MRT. The dream I dreamt last night.

Okay,I don't really remember much, only remember the most significant part. No more girls leaning on my shoulder and staring at me with love and stuff, though i love that moment but nope! Totally different! This dream is that my friends and I are being chased by zombie-like creatures or some sort of funny looking creatures. Well can't remember much but yea.. So we managed to hide from those creatures. However, when we reached a part of the building, we had to split as those creature guards are coming. So, UNKNOWINGLY (strongly emphasized), I didn't know ah! ... I ran into the female toilet. Okay, the best part is coming. So, the female toilet, I was hiding behind the entrance door of the toilet. And then, I saw a girl inside, and I was like WHOOPS!

Ok lets stop here for a moment. I've been into a female toilet so I know how it looks like. just to let you know, this is how it looks like:

So moving on, the female toilet. This female toilet, has... wait for it.... has... wait for it... hey i said wait right! LOL just kidding! ...has a row of urinals! YEA! URINALS! Okay, and then, imagine girls, peeing using urinals. Ok, don't say that I am sick or what la, but then thats what my brain showed me last night! The girl in the toilet peeing using a urinal and I saw it with my own eyes! uh, yea in my dreams. LOL! But omg! Imagine that! oh, and if you are thinking that I am gonna show you all a picture of how a girl pee, wait long long also don't have! muahahaha! Just ask your girl-friends about it, that is if she shares with you haha!

So yea! freakish dream! that girl I saw in my dreams is human! ..hopefully. Haha.. Well, do not get me wrong that it will never happen, but who knows! in the near near future, girls will pee so much faster with specially improvised urinals! AHEM! No offence to girls out there!

So thats about my dream part. The rest is just dumb, wondering how I got out of that situation will just be another mystery! haha!

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be
one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue reading.

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a
job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and
thus, you should save her first. Or you could take the old friend because he
once saved your life and this would be the perfect chance to pay him
back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up
with his answer. He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old
friend and let him take the lady to the
hospital. I would stay behind, and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."

1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professor
gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student
and had breezed through the questions until I read
the last one:

"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the
school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the
cleaning woman several times. She was tall,
dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her
name?

I handed in my paper, leaving the last question
blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if
the last question would count toward our quiz grade.
"Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers,
you will meet many people. All are significant. They
deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is
smile and say "hello."

I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her
name was Dorothy.


2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American
woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway
trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had
broken down and she desperately needed a ride.
Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car.
A young white man stopped to help her, generally
unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man
took her to safety, helped her get assistance and
put her into a taxicab.
She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his
address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a
knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a
giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A
special note was attached..
It read:
"Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway
the other night. The rain drenched not only my
clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along.
Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying
husband's bedside just before he passed away... God
bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving
others."

3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less,
a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and
sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in
front of him.
"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.
"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and
studied the coins in it.
"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the
waitress was growing impatient.
"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied.
The little boy again counted his coins.
"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on
the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice
cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress
came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the
table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish,
was one quarter, two dimes and five pennies.

You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had
to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a
roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if
anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the
king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by
and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the
King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did
anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of
vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the
peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the
stone to the side of the road. After much pushing
and straining, he finally succeeded. After the
peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed
a purse lying in the road where the boulder had
been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note
from the King indicating that the gold was for the
person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The
peasant learned what many of us never understand!
Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve
our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a
hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who
was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only
chance of recovery appeared to be a blood
transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had
miraculously survived the same disease and had
developed the antibodies needed to combat the
illness. The doctor explained the situation to her
little brother, and asked the little boy if he would
be willing to give his blood to his sister.
I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a
deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will
save her." As the transfusion progressed, he lay in
bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did,
seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his
face grew pale and his smile faded.
He looked up at the doctor and asked with a
trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away".
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the
doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his
sister all of his blood in order to save her.

ULCERS SUCKS!!!!!!!

Lets see, I've gotten this from Wiki for the causes of mouth ulcers:

"There are many processes which can lead to ulceration of the oral tissues. In some cases they are caused by an overreaction by the body's own immune system. Factors that appear to provoke them include stress, fatigue, illness, injury from accidental biting, hormonal changes, menstruation,...."

Hold on a second... Menstruation. Hmm, OH NOOO! No wonder down there...
=0 oh nos!

Ok nevermind. Lame shit! hahaha! I can't believe I am talking about such dumb things. Haha. Let's continue with that definition. =D

Hmm, didn't know there are so many things leading to such a common "event" like this. Awww man. Sudden weight loss, Stress, deficiencies... Nah... Hormon... THATS IT! HORMONAL CHANGES! I AM BECOMING MORE MAN! WAHAHA! MUAHAHA!

No wonder so many ulcers, becoming more MAN than before, why not? More ulcers come baby!

Ok, ignore that. Pretty much crazy, haha. I decided not to put a picture of ulcers because gosh, too gross! Initially, I had 2 ulcers just few days back on my lower lip. Well, its not too bad because its quite common for me. (The BECOMING-A-MAN-process *ahem*) Until I woke up today... when i was just about to brush my teeth, i felt a sharp pain on my tongue. Well, some would say, "AHYA TONGUE NIA, U SISSY AH!', BUT HEY! LISTEN!

Number 1 :
It's not sissy! Its just a step closer to become more man!
Number 2 :
Of all places, it's at the tip of the tongue! aww.. man! tip of the tongue! Man.. Eating can never be that tough.
Number 3 :
STRONG EMPHASIS NEEDED. Becoming-a-man process! XD

Ah.. damn. How lame can I get, ranting about ulcers, and becoming more man. But this is how life goes for me huh! Next time you see me on the streets, you'll be AMAZED!
