today, i would like to tell you all a touching story which moved me to tears.. its is preached by my Pastor at church so.. yea.. hope you enjoy.. after that.. more photos! LOL

There is this boy..
He LOVES to play American Football..
And that was why he joined the School team in his 'Secondary' School..

HOWEVER, there is something which disallow him to make it to a higher level..
that is... He is small sized and as compared to the other football players, he is half the size of them!

Because of that, the coach never played him in a match before(for the whole of 'Secondary' School life) even though he worked very hard. He was so called the 'bench-warmer'. However, no matter what, without fail, his FATHER would always be there to cheer and support him EVEN THOUGH the boy is not playing at all..

Then when he went to college, he did not want to join the school's team again as he was afraid the same thing would happen. But it was his FATHER who told him,"I would support your decision but won't it be a waste to just throw away your dream of playing American Football which is your favourite sport?"

The boy thought and thought.. and finally decided to join the school team. He barely made it to the school team because of his size but it was because of his consistent hard work and full attendance in every training that gave him a spot in the school team.

HOWEVER, the same thing happened! Due to his size, the coach did not play him out field at all for the three years in college! All he did was to sit on the bench and see the team play. However, his FATHER was there whenever the team played to support his son and cheer for him even though the boy is not playing. He turned up for every match just to cheer for him.

After three years, the boy went to University. The boy still did not give up and tried his very best to get in the school team. Initially, the coach did not want him in the team, but after the boy pleaded the coach several times, the coach took pity on him and took him in. For the one year in the team, he had full attendance in every training and worked very hard just to be able to play for the school. However, the SAME thing happened. He was the bench-warmer, but guess what, his FATHER always turned up without fail to support his son! No matter what his FATHER is always cheering for him.

It was the boy's final year in University and the boy kept training and training but still did not play for the team at all. Until one day, one week before the Grand Finals, during training, the boy received a telegram and when he looked at it, he was shocked.

He ran up to the coach with tears in the eyes and told the coach,"My dad just passed away. Can i be excused from this training?"

The coach replied,"Oh yes boy.. I think you should just take a break for the rest of the week.. Oh yes.. and you need not go for the grand finals."

The boy knew he could not afford to talk back and ran off to see his FATHER.

The day finally came and it was the Grand Finals. The team was doing badly and was losing by 10 points! It was then, the boy showed up. The coach and players were shocked to see him, it was not only that, the boy is dressed in his gear. The coach asked him in frustration,"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

The boy just replied,"I want to play.."

The coach then pretended not to hear anything as it would be suicide to let the weakest and most inexperienced player to play at this point of time, and continued looking at the match with frustration. However, the boy never gave up and continued begging the coach but to no avail.

The coach then decided to put him as he could not stand it and before the boy leave for the field, the coach said,"Here you go... just give it your best shot!"

The atmosphere totally changed when the boy entered the game. The sight of an unknown player entering a game stunned the crowd as well as the players.

However, the boy proved the coach wrong about being the weakest player and with his strong attacks, tackles, passes and defending, he managed to lead the team to a tie and finally he was the one who got the winning touchdown for the team.

The players then lifted him up and the crowd roared as they celebrated their victory. It was a great moment for the boy.

When everything has settled down, the coach went into the locker room and saw the boy sitting alone at the corner. The coach then went up to him and said." Wow! What happened back then? Your performance was Fabulous! How did you do it?"

The boy smiled and told him,"You know my Father right, he passed away. He was blind and yet he came down to every match to cheer and support me without fail even though he can't see a thing and I am not playing at all! Since I was a young boy, he didn't even miss a match and he would come down and support me. But just now, I know he can see me, his own son, playing in the Grand Finals and leading the team to glory, as I know that he can finally see with his own eyes from the Heavens above... and THAT was what made me shine.."

~THE END~

I DO HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS STORY AS IT SHOWS HOW FATHERS CAN CARE SO MUCH AND YES, THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN OUR LIVES! =DD
